The Research Data Repository is a centralized digital platform designed to support the storage, management, sharing, and controlled access of research datasets within and outside the organization. The platform enables students, internal researchers, and external researchers to upload, manage, request, and access datasets used in academic research, dissertations, final-year projects, and institutional studies.
The system promotes collaboration, data preservation, and research transparency by providing a secure and structured environment for dataset management. Students can upload datasets associated with their research or final projects, while researchers—both internal and external—can contribute datasets or submit requests for access to existing datasets within the repository.
Each registered user is provided with an independent workspace to manage their datasets, including uploading, updating, categorizing, and monitoring access requests. Dataset owners maintain control over their uploaded resources and can issue access tokens to approved users when dataset requests are made. These tokens provide controlled and secure access to datasets while ensuring accountability and data governance.
To maintain fair usage and protect sensitive research data, the platform implements configurable download limitations for each dataset. This ensures that dataset access is regulated according to institutional policies and the dataset owner's permissions.
